You can't see it very well because I had to snap a photo with my Pocket PC as I drove through the stop light, but that little yellow sign in the picture says in messy permanent marker, "I buy houses" and a phone number to call.

Just so you know, most people that put out signs like this intentionally do it in messy permanent marker (rather than a professional sign)
The reasoning is that people that are looking to sell their house (possibly in trouble / foreclosure) will want to deal with an actual person rather than some professional "company"
Your counterpoint is of course also valid
